Team and Practice Environment

• Join a well-established team of 14 physicians and 8 APPs at Mercy Medical Center.
• Collaborate with a Medical Director, Associate Medical Director, clinical performance nurses, and a Program Manager.
• Utilize EPIC and our internal informatics platform.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner board certification is required.
• Preferred: at least one year of acute care hospitalist experience.

Schedule and Responsibilities

• Seeking NP for day and swing shifts, typically 7 on/7 off, with emphasis on swing shift coverage.
• Work hours generally 7 am-5 pm and 4 pm-2 am, with patient loads of 12 during day shifts and 7-8 admissions during evening shifts.
• Respond to codes and rapid alerts; participate in monthly team meetings and daily morning huddles.
