Sound Physicians invites a Hospital Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join the team at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown, KY. This day position operates on a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation within a close-knit group of 2 physicians and 3 APPs, supported by a clinical performance nurse.

You will manage complex ICU cases, collaborate with hospitalist APPs on admissions and patient care, and participate in monthly meetings and hospital committees to drive quality care at CHI Flaget Memorial

Qualifications

• Board certification as Acute Care NP or PA.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Training opportunities for new APP graduates.

• This is a day position at Flaget Memorial Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage andtreat complex cases in an open ICU, embracing the challenges and variety of caring for a diverse patient population.
• Collaborate closely with hospitalist APPs who assist with admissions and patient management under the supervision of a physician, ensuring seamless and comprehensive care.
• Participate actively in monthly team meetings to stay informed about practice updates, developments at CHI Flaget Memorial Hospital, and broader initiatives within Sound.
• Engage as a key member of the hospital community, with active participation in committees that shape the function and operations of this small but dynamic facility.
