Job summary

UT Health Tyler is seeking a PRN Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join its hospitalist program at UT Health Tyler, a Level 1 Trauma Center in East Texas. The role features a 7 on / 7 off schedule and 12-hour shifts from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with opportunities to mentor nursing staff and other APPs.

Qualifications

• Hospitalist experience required
• PRN Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)

Responsibilities

• 7 on / 7 off schedule
• 12-hour shifts (12:00 PM – 12:00 AM)
• Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff and other APPs
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, optimize clinical outcomes, and improve care delivery processes
• Utilize Epic EMR
