gobravvo seeks a Hospitalist NP/PA to provide inpatient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in Michigan. The role offers structured orientation and ongoing training, with opportunities for new graduates to transition smoothly into hospital medicine.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Current, unrestricted Michigan state license as NP or PA.
• Michigan Controlled Substance license and active DEA registration.
• Prescriptive authority per Michigan regulations.
• Board certification: AANP/ANCC for NPs or NCCPA for PAs.
• Family NP certification preferred for NP candidates.
• AHA ACLS certification required.
• Vaccination requirements: influenza and hospital immunizations.
• Submit two years of case/encounter/procedure logs.
• Medical Director approval for privileging and orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient assessment and management for hospitalized patients.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with the team.
• Prescribe medications within scope and regulations.
• Perform inpatient procedures as credentialed when needed.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and follow-up.
• Document encounters and plans in the EHR accurately.
• Participate in staff meetings and quality initiatives.
• Comply with infection control and hospital policies.
