Job summary

MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital in Rockport, Maine is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join its Hospitalist team. The role provides medical care to patients in the inpatient Medical-Surgical Unit and conducts consultations in the Psychiatric and Addiction Recovery Center, a locked unit adjacent to the Med-Surg Unit.

The position offers a fast-paced environment, collaborating with Emergency Medicine and Medical-Surgical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and licensure as NP/PA in Maine.
• Graduate of accredited Acute Care NP or PA program.
• Maine NP/PA license and DEA required.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• 2 years' experience as NP/PA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to patients in the inpatient Medical-Surgical Unit.
• Conduct consultations in the Psychiatric and Addiction Recovery Center.
• Collaborate with Emergency Medicine Department and Medical-Surgical Unit staff.
• Work in a fast-paced Hospitalist team environment.

MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital in beautiful Rockport, Maine is currently seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join its Hospitalist team. The ideal candidate will provide medical care to the patients in the inpatient medical surgical unit as well as conduct consultations in the Psychiatric and Addiction Recovery Center, which is a locked unit located next to the Med-Surg Unit. The position offers a fast-paced environment working collaboratively with other providers in the Emergency Medicine Department and on the Medical Surgical Unit Floor.

The pay range for this position at 1.0 FTE is $125,197 to $162,019 annually based on the candidate's level of experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Graduate of an accredited certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner's program or graduate of an accredited Certified Physician Assistant program.
• License/Certification: Maine NP or PA License and DEA.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Prior experience in Hospital medicine is preferred.
• 2 years' experience as an NP/PA is preferred.
