AMN Healthcare is seeking a Hospitalist Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage at a facility in Polacca, AZ. The shift runs 7:30am–7:30pm with multiple start dates throughout the year, and the provider will handle inpatient admissions, management, discharges, consultations, and transfers. Required BLS and ACLS; PALS and ATLS recommended.

Credentialing takes about 45 days. EMR used: RPMS. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance arrangements are provided by AMN for locum tenens

Hospitalist Medicine Physician

StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day 12 Pay Rate: $179.45 - $194.25

This facility is seeking a Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 7:30am-7:30pm; 11/7-11/12, 11/28-12/5, 12/12-12/17, and 12/27-1/31/27
• Total census per provider per shift: 1
• Procedures required: Admit, manage, discharge, consult, and transfer inpatients
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): RPMS
• Support: None
• Certifications and license required: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) strongly recommended
• Credentialing timeframe: 45 days

Facility Location

Polacca is a tiny, close-knit community in Navajo County, which contains parts of the Hopi Indian reservation, Navajo Nation and the Fort Apache Indian Reservation. The area is rich in Native American history. Visitors will want to check out the national parks and forests of the region to marvel at their natural splendor. Petrified Forest National Park offers spectacular views of colorful petrified wood, while the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest is a verdant and beautiful forest that is ideal for hiking, mountain biking and camping.
