Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group in Boise, Idaho seeks a hospitalist to join a growing multispecialty group alongside 32 physicians and 12 APPs. The role focuses on high-acuity inpatient care with a multi-disciplinary team and teaching residents.

The ideal candidate has an internal medicine or family medicine background with hospitalist training, and will participate in a broad service line near SARMC. Boise offers indoor/outdoor recreation and a supportive medical community.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• ACGME Internal Medicine residency; hospitalist training considered.
• Board certification through ABIM or AOBIM or plan to obtain within 3 years.
• Idaho medical licensure and valid controlled substance registration (DEA).
• Granting privileges at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center (SARMC).

Responsibilities

• Hospitalists manage high-acuity medical service for SAMG.
• Teach residents as part of practice.
• Admit patients and coordinate care with subspecialists.
• Work within the multidisciplinary SAMG team to deliver patient care.
