Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital is seeking a dedicated Hospitalist to join our experienced hospitalist team for overnight shifts. The role focuses on 24/7 care continuity and collaboration across departments to uphold safety and service quality.

The ideal candidate holds an MD or DO, is board-certified/eligible in IM or FM, and has Texas licensure or eligibility. Prior nocturnist experience is preferred to support seamless operations in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Education: MD or DO degree.
• Texas Medical License or eligible for licensure in TX.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Experience as hospitalist or nocturnist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including specialists, nursing staff, and ancillary services, to deliver high-quality care.
• Ensure timely communication with patients, families, and referring physicians to facilitate care transitions.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety measures, and hospital protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with medical records and billing standards.
• Support the training and development of residents and medical students, as applicable.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Licensure/Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active Texas Medical License or eligibility for licensure in Texas.
• Experience: Prior experience in a hospitalist or nocturnist role preferred.
