St. Charles Health System seeks a Gastroenterologist to join our hospital-based GI service in Bend, Oregon. The physician will manage a broad scope of GI care, including endoscopic procedures, within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include night back-up calls, documentation in the EMR, and participation in clinical governance. Applicants must have MD/DO, GI residency, board eligibility/certification, and Oregon licensure with privileges, CME maintenance, and DEA registration.

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in Gastroenterology completed.
• Board eligibility or certification in Gastroenterology.
• Current license as MD/DO with ability to obtain/maintain privileges.
• Unrestricted DEA registration and eligibility to participate in Medicare/Medicaid.
• Ongoing CME participation to maintain board certification.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and treat GI conditions; perform endoscopy and related procedures.
• Provide emergency procedures as needed.
• Document patient care in EMR and ensure accurate billing and coding.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in meetings.
• Educate patients and families on health, illness prevention, and treatments.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, and hospital privileges.
