Job summary

Heartline Staffing is seeking a Hospitalist & Core Faculty Physician for an outstanding opportunity in Marion, Indiana. The role combines inpatient hospital medicine with physician education, mentoring Family Medicine residents and guiding the next generation of physicians with a predictable 7-on/7-off schedule and strong benefits.

The physician will provide comprehensive inpatient care as Core Faculty for a Family Medicine Residency Program, handle general medical/surgical patients, collaborate

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (REQUIRED)
• Ability to Practice Inpatient Hospital Medicine (REQUIRED)
• Comfortable Managing an Open ICU (REQUIRED)
• Experience with Surgical Co-Management (REQUIRED)
• Interest in Resident Education and Mentorship (REQUIRED)
• Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills (REQUIRED)
• Collaborative Team-Based Practice (REQUIRED)
• Previous Academic or Faculty Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient Hospitalist services
• Manage approximately 18 patients per day
• Teach and mentor Family Medicine residents
• Participate in medical student education
• Manage patients in an open ICU environment
• Provide surgical co-management
• Collaborate with specialists across multiple disciplines
• Maintain timely clinical documentation while delivering high-quality patient care
