Position Overview

The Lead APP’s primary responsibility is to care for patients by building highly reliable, high-performing APP clinicians who are part of the physician-APP team to produce effective outcomes for their patients and the organization. The Site Lead APP is responsible for providing leadership of all APP Hospitalist staff at a single hospital.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Medical Director, hospitalist physicians, nursing leadership, and hospital medical staff to ensure high-quality inpatient care.
• Create an inclusive work environment, provide recognition, performance coaching, and career guidance to the APP team.
• Develop a pipeline of talent for the organization.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in their specialty.
• Experience in hospitalist medicine preferred.
