Job summary

Dignity Health in Phoenix is seeking a PRN Hospitalist to join our team. The role features 12-hour shifts with coverage for about 18-20 patients per day.

You’ll benefit from superb in-house subspecialty support and a Magnet hospital environment with an academic affiliation through Creighton University School of Medicine at Phoenix. Cerner EMR links inpatient and outpatient care across facilities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and board-certified/eligible in internal medicine.
• Arizona medical license or eligibility.
• ACGME residency training with ABMS board certification.
• Ability to obtain full hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals.
• Team-oriented provider focused on quality care for underserved populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as PRN hospitalist on 12-hour shifts.
• Manage approximately 18-20 patients per day.
• Benefit from in-house subspecialty support and Magnet hospital environment.
• No requirement to run codes; closed ICU with intensivists.
• Utilize Cerner EMR across inpatient and outpatient facilities.

• Closed ICU with 24/7 intensivists; ventilator management, procedures, running codes not required.

Job Requirements

• MD or DO Degree




• BC/BE Internal Medicine




• Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure




• Completed ACGME Residency training with current ABMS Board Certification




• Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals

Pay Range

$164.99 - $165.00 /hour
