Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 months related experience in an acute care setting.
• Medical terminology and Health Unit Certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as central administrative and communication hub for the nursing station.
• Perform clerical/reception duties and manage supply/equipment requests.
• Handle admissions, discharges and transfers; maintain records and charts.
• Answer call lights and incoming calls; direct to appropriate staff.
• Assist with medication retrieval/delivery as needed.
• Support patient care with strong organizational skills and multitasking.
