Job summary

Astrana Health Management is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to manage the ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution of hospital supplies onsite at our Tustin facility. You will ensure accurate documentation, inventory control, and timely fulfillment of departmental requests while collaborating with hospital staff.

The role involves data entry, organizing supply areas, and safely operating equipment to support efficient materials management.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment for all hospital specialties.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong time management skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
• Computer literacy and proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintains strong knowledge of hospital supplies to perform job duties efficiently and accurately.
• Receives and processes incoming supplies and equipment, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
• Communicates effectively with department managers and staff, responding to inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Utilizes computer systems for accurate data entry, documentation, and maintaining organized records and workspaces.
• Manages inventory by stocking supplies, fulfilling requisitions, delivering items, and supporting inventory control processes.
