Job summary

Summa Health in Akron seeks a hands-on Supply Chain/Equipment Clerk to receive, stock, distribute and track medical equipment and supplies, ensuring areas are organized and maintained in accordance with safety and infection control standards.

You will support transportation, inventory control, and logistics coordination within and between hospital departments, and be able to handle the physical demands of moving heavy objects in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED.
• 1 year of related experience in hospital supply chain, central services, or distribution preferred.
• Demonstrates teamwork, professionalism, and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently, follow procedures, and solve problems.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with all hospital staff with courtesy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of supply chain and equipment management functions across the hospital.
• Receives, stocks, distributes, tracks, and cleans medical equipment and supplies to support patient care operations.
• Supports transportation, inventory control, and logistics coordination within and between hospital departments.
