Job summary

Carson Tahoe Health in Carson City, NV seeks a Material Management professional to transport and deliver equipment, specimens, reports and supplies to CTRH hospital and offsite locations. The role includes routine vehicle checks, inventory replenishment and stocking to par levels, and assisting Purchasing as needed.

You will use the hospital's Supply Chain Program to receive, issue and track stock, perform cycle counts, notify staff of stockouts, and provide backup to couriers.

Qualifications

• Operate power and manual pallet trucks, dollies and flat carts.
• Follow oral and written instructions and procedures to expedite deliveries.
• Operate 12.5 ton delivery truck with power gate lift and a delivery van.
• Read, write and speak English to perform duties.
• Use basic computer skills to access internet resources and systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily par replenishment for departments at approved levels.
• Handle calls, faxes, correspondence and related documents.
• Use Supply Chain Program to receive equipment, furniture and supplies against orders.
• Document and ship correspondence, supplies, equipment and specimens to designated locations.
• Break down and stock palletized inventory shipments per delivery schedules.
