Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Supply Chain Technician to join our team.

You will support patient care by ensuring supplies, equipment, and linen are received, stocked, and distributed across the hospital, using inventory management software to maintain accurate levels. In a fast-paced healthcare setting, you will collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams, monitor stock levels, process orders, and assist with equipment distribution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required.
• Experience with inventory software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fill supply orders accurately using supply chain software.
• Procure supplies and issue inventory to departments.
• Stock supplies in designated bins and PAR locations.
• Verify received quantities and rotate inventory to minimize waste.
• Monitor stock levels and notify when low.
• Deliver supplies to hospital locations.
• Receive supplies and equipment accurately through systems.
• Report discrepancies and variances following procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to departments.
• Assist with equipment distribution and training as needed.
