Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital in Cleveland is seeking a Material Handler to stock and distribute medical supplies across departments. You will replenish inventories, receive shipments, and ensure accurate tracking in the warehouse system.

The role supports patient care through reliable supply chains and timely deliveries. The position requires basic computer skills, inventory knowledge, and adherence to safety and PPE guidelines; a valid driver’s license may be needed for box truck

Qualifications

• Meets all Cleveland Clinic insurance requirements.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of materials management or related experience preferred.
• Inventory knowledge preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• May require a valid Driver’s License to operate box trucks.

Responsibilities

• Replenish supplies, linens and other medical necessities to ensure caregivers provide timely patient care.
• Receive, sort, put away, pick and deliver supplies, mail, patient records and other items as required.
• Rotate stock and check for outdates; perform routine expiry management to meet KPIs.
• Receive products from shipping and receiving area, unpack and inspect items for damage, verify accuracy of shipments and input information in the warehouse management system.
• Deliver supplies and materials to appropriate floors and health care facilities; monitor flow of traffic into dock areas.
