Job summary

Deaconess News is seeking a transport associate to move items safely across the health system. You will drive hospital vehicles, handle deliveries, and keep accurate logs while maintaining clean vehicles and compliance with policies.

The role requires basic math, MSDS reading, and data-entry skills; a high school diploma is required, with at least one year of healthcare-related experience preferred. On-site location with no remote work.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as MSDS, packing lists, delivery tickets, and operating procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Must apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions; handle problems with several variables.

Responsibilities

• Operate hospital provided vehicle.
• Pick up and deliver supplies/equipment/documents/forms.
• Deposit Bag accountability.
• Maintain vehicle and warehouse.
• Pickup/packaging of supplies for transport.
