Job summary

Garnet Health Medical Center Middletown is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team. The pharmacist will collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure safe medication management, dispensing and monitoring for patients in a hospital setting.

Minimum requirements include a PharmD and NYS license; advanced training such as a residency is preferred. The role may require flexibility for on-site work and occasional extended hours as needed to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: PharmD required for the role.
• Advanced training such as masters or residency preferred.
• Current NYS Pharmacist License and Registration required

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians, residents and other healthcare professionals in prescribing, preparing, dispensing, administering and monitoring medications.
• Provide guidance and oversight to technicians and support staff.
• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and ensure safe, effective patient care
