Job summary

Relient Health in Corning, IA is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a hospital rehab team. You will evaluate and treat speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders, developing individualized plans and documenting progress.

The position offers full benefits, PTO, holidays, and potential sign-on or relocation; IA licensure required; CCC-SLP preferred. Collaboration with PTs, OTs, nurses, and physicians is emphasized to deliver coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Current IA SLP license (or eligibility).
• CCC-SLP preferred, but CFs may be considered when supervision is available.
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Document patient progress using EMR systems.
• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, nurses, and physicians to deliver coordinated care.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on treatment goals and progress.
