Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Commercial or passenger transport experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates shuttles to provide safe, clean and timely transportation.
• Obeys traffic regulations with defensive driving and seatbelts fastened.
• Follows hospital route and speed limit policies; shuttle is a visible representation of the Hospital.
• Assists passengers on and off the bus as requested.
• Performs daily vehicle inspections to ensure bus is mechanically sound and maintained.
• Uses radio in a professional manner to inform security and other buses of traffic/status.
• Informs management of maintenance and/or safety hazards and concerns.
• Complies with state, local and federal regulations governing transit vehicle operations.
• Courier materials between locations.
• Provides special shuttle services to meet hospital needs and inclement weather situations.
