Job summary

Trinity Health''s Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Driver for a PRN/part-time role with rotating shifts. The Driver will be responsible for routine vehicle checks, clear communication of schedules, and safe operation in Maryland traffic.

Qualifications include at least a high school diploma or GED, a valid Maryland driver’s license with a clean record, and completion of required courses within orientation. Uniforms are provided and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Must have a valid Maryland Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must pass the certification in shipping infectious substances/dangerous goods course within the first 2 days of orientation.
• Must pass the medication security health stream course.
• Must wear a HCH uniform.
• Must possess and operate a cell phone.

Responsibilities

• The Driver will perform routine checks such as oil and water on all security vehicles.
• Must be able to articulate Maryland traffic regulations.
• Must clearly communicate location and departure/arrival times over the phone.
