Job description

The Hospital Service Technician is responsible for equipment management tasks within the hospital to ensure efficient operation of equipment throughout the facility. The HST should be committed to improving the quality, reliability, and value of our products and services. They will maintain professional relationships with hospital staff and act as customer service experts.

Position Details:

  • Full Time, 2nd shift, Sunday - Thursday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Salary: $16.75 + $0.50 differential

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver equipment to patient rooms or standby locations in ready condition with appropriate software, accessories, and disposables.
  • Communicate confidently with clinical staff regarding equipment features and functionality.
  • Provide quality service, perform to standards, and meet customer and company metrics.
  • Pick up, clean, and process all equipment, preparing it for patient use following protocols.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service experience required; hospital setting experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours
  • Ability to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds and stand/walk for long periods
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand frequently
