Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cooking experience in a full-service or institutional kitchen.
• Some hospitality service experience related to cooking/menu preparation.
• Hospital kitchen experience in institutional settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety and sanitary requirements in food service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare entrees, vegetables, soups, and specialty items according to recipes.
• Provide guidance to cooks and assist managers during events.
• Create a positive kitchen atmosphere aligned with Food Services' mission.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, coworkers, and customers.
• Maintain production forecasts and update recipes/menus using Computrition.
