Job summary

Baptist Health in Florida is seeking a seasoned security professional to monitor hospital facilities, protect patients and staff, and respond promptly to incidents.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in security, an associate degree preferred, and must complete Basic Life Support and Life Safety training within the first 90 days. A Florida driver’s license and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of security experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Must complete BLS and Basic Life Safety training within 90 days of employment.
• Working knowledge of personal computers and software.

Responsibilities

• Provide security for hospital facilities and staff.
• Perform back-up duties to security manager and/or director as needed.
• Assist in incident response and reporting, maintaining safety protocols.
