Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required upon hire.
• Valid driver's license and 21 years of age required upon hire.
• AVADE Level III violence prevention certification within 90 days.
• IAHSS Basic/Advanced Training Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs proactive monitoring and timely responses to security threats.
• Investigates and manages security incidents on-premises and at other properties.
• Follows alarms, disaster preparedness plans, and conducts planned drills.
• Provides information and assistance to staff and visitors for safety.
• Manages facility access and security surveillance systems.
• Assists with crisis management for violent behavior incidents.
• Monitors fire alarms, generators, elevators, and emergency call boxes.
• Conducts threats and hazard assessments via patrolling.
• Acts as liaison with local law enforcement.
