Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional - Unarmed for a hospital environment. The role includes unarmed patrols, access control, CCTV monitoring, report writing, and de-escalation of situations under safety guidelines. A TB test and vaccinations may be required per facility policy.

Starting pay is $21.49 per hour. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and at least two years of relevant experience in customer service or protective services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years of verifiable employment history in customer service or protective services.
• Must be at least 18 years old; licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Able to operate radio/telephone equipment and monitor consoles.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; problem solving and active listening.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of hospital grounds on foot or in vehicle and document observations.
• Assist staff with de-escalation of situations and restrain combative individuals as needed.
• Transport patients to the morgue when required; escort patients from helicopter pad to the emergency room.
• Assist with evacuations during fires, medical emergencies, and disasters.
• Sound alarms or contact police/fire services when needed; monitor entrances and exits for authorized access.
