Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Screening - Hospital in Columbus, OH. You will monitor access points, screen visitors and belongings, and report suspicious activity to help maintain a safe campus environment.

You will maintain a friendly, professional presence, provide excellent customer service, and respond calmly to incidents.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
