Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Security Officer to provide a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, staff, and volunteers. The role supports Safety/Security/Emergency Management and Parking management programs, patrols the facility, enforces policies, and investigates incidents.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms, directing traffic and parking, operating security systems, and performing routine inspections.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Private Police Training or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hospital property to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Enforce hospital policies and regulations, including court appearances if necessary.
• Investigate and document reports of criminal or unusual activity and incidents.
• Respond to alarms and take action to normalize, including coordinating emergency response when needed.
• Direct and control traffic/parking on property and in garages to ensure safe flow.
• Operate and monitor security systems and perform routine inspections of safety components.
