Job summary

Qualifications

• Interpersonal and communication skills to interact with staff, patients, visitors and law enforcement.
• Writing skills to prepare descriptive reports meeting department standards.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Compliance with IAHSS Basic certification and BLS within required timelines.

Responsibilities

• Investigates hospital incidents and disturbances to maintain security.
• Completes reports for supervisory personnel.
• Notifies police/fire and prepares incident reports.
• Patrols hospital perimeter and interiors on foot and with vehicles.
• Responds to emergencies and alarms per guidelines.
