Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of one year in security is preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid NYS driver’s license and ability to obtain NYS Security Guard License.

Responsibilities

• Protect patients, visitors, staff, and hospital property with a visible security presence and patrols.
• Perform routine safety inspections and monitor access control.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and security calls with timely documentation.
• Enforce parking and access rules and maintain security logs and communications.
• Assist with facility operations and provide interdepartmental support as needed.
