Job summary

Tarian is seeking a Healthcare Security Officer to protect patients, staff and visitors in a hospital setting. You will patrol, monitor access control and assist customers while representing the company’s safety-first culture.

The role requires a pre-employment background check and drug screen, plus the ability to lift up to 80 lbs and stand for long shifts. A valid driver's license may be required for driving duties.

Qualifications

• Completed High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
• Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet Tarian's company driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles)

Responsibilities

• Maintain the hospital's security and safety for staff, patients and visitors, acting as a visible deterrent to unlawful activity
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
