Job summary

The Hospital Security Officer at Tarian Group plays a critical role in keeping patients, visitors, and staff safe in a hospital environment. You will provide a visible security presence, respond to incidents, and follow safety policies with calm, professional communication.

Key duties include controlling access, patrolling, incident response, de-escalation, accurate reporting, and collaboration with hospital teams. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills and reliability.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
• Must be able to stand/walk for an entire shift and lift up to 80 lbs.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain applicable licenses or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Access control: monitor and manage entry points per hospital policies.
• Patrol and surveillance: conduct routine patrols to identify safety concerns.
• Incident response: respond to emergencies including medical situations and alarms.
• Conflict resolution: de-escalate and manage disruptive behavior.
• Vigilant monitoring: observe/report criminal activity or safety hazards.
• Reporting and documentation: complete incident logs and daily activity reports.
• Team collaboration: work with staff and supervisors to maintain security.
