Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Hospital Patrol in Butler, PA. You will monitor and patrol healthcare facilities, deter incidents, and provide courteous service to patients, visitors, and staff.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will work the listed schedule, help maintain a welcoming environment, and follow established security procedures. A background check and drug screen are required where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, patient, and staff directions while respecting restricted areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities and relay information to site leadership or emergency responders as needed.
