Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional - Unarmed for a hospital environment in Leawood, KS. The role involves interior/exterior patrols, access control, CCTV monitoring, and incident reporting.

Daily duties include de-escalation, securing areas, and assisting with evacuations and emergencies. Requires a HS diploma, valid driver’s license, and relevant experience. Pay is $20.03 per hour with a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current driver’s license if operating a company- or customer-owned vehicle.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Minimum of 2 years in customer service or protective service field.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Strong communications and written skills.
• Ability to assess situations quickly and respond appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of hospital grounds on foot or by vehicle and document observations.
• Assist staff with de-escalation and restrain only as necessary.
• Transport patients to the morgue if needed.
• Escort patients from helicopter pad to the emergency room.
• Assist with evacuations during emergencies and disasters.
• Sound alarms or summon police/fire department when needed.
• Monitor entrances/exits and ensure only authorized access.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
