Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for a healthcare location in Overland Park, KS. In this full-time role, you will patrol facilities, monitor access points, and provide compassionate security-related customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

The position requires at least 1 year of security experience, ability to meet hospital vaccination requirements, and the capacity to respond calmly to incidents while maintaining safety and compliance with site policies.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Willing to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Able to work in a hospital environment including a morgue.
• Able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors.
• Conduct unarmed patrols in healthcare facilities and grounds.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow established protocols.
• Monitor entrances and verify credentials as directed.
