Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a Security Officer to provide a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will patrol facilities, respond to incidents, and coordinate with local authorities during evening shifts.

This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits, PTO, tuition assistance, and a retirement plan, with a 3:00pm–11:00pm schedule and every other weekend/holiday requirement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of security officer experience preferred or equivalent healthcare security experience.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol buildings and parking areas to deter threats and ensure safety.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with authorities as needed.
• Prepare and file incident reports and maintain security records.
• Escort staff and visitors; monitor access and enforce safety policies.
