Job summary

Non-exempt under FLSA, the position requires a high school diploma, relevant security experience if possible, and certifications such as Texas DL, IAHSS, and CPI within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education required.
• Criminal justice, security or related experience preferred.
• Must obtain Texas DL within 90 days of hire.
• IAHSS certification within 90 days where applicable.
• Nonviolent crisis intervention training within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe environment for patients, staff and visitors through patrolling and monitoring.
• Respond to radio dispatches, calls and complaints; assess and provide necessary assistance.
• Document incidents accurately and generate reports as required.
• Provide personal protection and assist with direction, information and guidance to others.
• Support emergency response and safety policy adherence across the hospital.
