Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.
• California Security Guard Card - CA Bureau of Security & Investigative Services -REQUIRED
• Driver's License - CA Department of Motor Vehicles -REQUIRED
• Other College course in Criminal Justice, Sociology, and Psychology desirable.
• 1 Year of security related experience
• 1 Year of hospital security/healthcare setting
• IAHSS Basic Certification - PREFERRED

Responsibilities

• Provide protective services to locations, patients, visitors and staff.
• Patrol premises on foot or vehicle to protect life and property.
• Control access to restricted areas and respond to alarms.
• Complete incident reports accurately and timely.
• Enforce parking regulations and professional conduct.
• Conduct security rounds 4-6 times per shift and monitor for unusual activity.
• De-escalate and manage incidents, providing calm, effective response.
