Job summary

Shriners Hospitals for Children in Pennsylvania is seeking a PRN Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for patients, families, visitors and staff. This role covers patrols, access control, and prompt emergency response in line with hospital security policies.

You will greet and assist people at the front lobby, coordinate with clinical teams, and ensure guest relations excellence while complying with city, state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Consumer Affairs Security Officers License to perform security duties.
• Must hold a State driver’s license to operate vehicles and commute.
• Experience in hospital security or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of functions related to the safety and security of hospital staff, patients, families, visitors and general public in accordance with city, state and federal laws and regulations.
• Exercises responsibility in responding to security needs of hospital visitors, patients and staff, as well as greeting and assisting all personnel at the front lobby.
