Job summary

Midland Memorial Hospital is seeking a Security Officer to provide safety and security for staff, patients, visitors and hospital property. The role requires independent judgment and adherence to hospital guidelines.

Responsibilities include patrolling facilities, responding to alarms, and documenting incidents. Must maintain a high-visibility presence and uphold the Hospital’s Culture of Ownership.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in security, military, or corrections.
• TCOLE eligibility criteria in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Answer all calls for security and respond to dispatch before patrolling.
• Perform routine walking patrol of Midland Memorial Hospital interiors and exteriors.
• Ensure safety of patients, physicians, guests and employees; work under stressful conditions.

Education

High School graduate

1 year experience in security, military, or corrections

Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) eligibility criteria
