AdventHealth Calhoun is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to patrol facilities, respond to emergencies, and maintain life safety standards. You will investigate incidents, disengage conflicts with de-escalation techniques, and coordinate with hospital staff to protect patients, visitors, and employees.

This full-time day shift role requires a valid driver's license, a high school diploma, and at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write reports clearly and follow simple directions.
• Ability to interpret safety rules and policies in written materials.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Proficient in operating basic computer applications.

Responsabilités

• Patrols assigned areas and maintains life safety standards.
• Responds to emergencies and alarms.
• Assists with first aid within training scope.
• Intercedes in disputes using de-escalation techniques.
• Unlocks facilities after verifying IDs and hospital policy.
• Monitors traffic and investigates incidents and hazards.
• Document incidents accurately and report to appropriate entities.
