Job summary

Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia, MN seeks a part-time Security Officer responsible for the safety of staff, patients, and visitors, as well as facility protection and grounds security.

Responsibilities include patrols, escorts, monitoring cameras, alarms and access controls; responding to emergencies, maintaining logs, completing training, and adhering to safety policies. Minimum 21 years old, high school diploma, and MN driver’s license required; CPR/First Aid within 6 months.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Patrols and provides escorts at assigned locations.
• Fulfill responsibilities during organization’s emergency plans.
• Respond to security emergencies and calls for service.
• Monitor building security systems such as cameras, alarms, access controls.
• Maintain and operate equipment including radio, emergency vehicle, and use of force equipment.
• Address non-compliance with administrative policies related to safety and security.
• Complete required training (IAHSS/EMR/TASER etc) within specified timelines.
• Complete daily logs and incident reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
