Qualifikationen

• H.S. diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree preferred in related fields.
• Two years healthcare or education experience preferred.
• Licensing and certifications required within stated timelines.

Aufgaben

• Patrols buildings and grounds for unlocked secured areas during after hours.
• Locks and opens doors according to schedules.
• Provides escorts to parking areas.
• Identifies and removes unauthorized individuals from property.
• Enforces campus parking policies and cites violations.
• Pursues and detains persons involved in criminal activity.
• Fills out incident/offense reports and writes narratives.
• Gives directions to facility areas and coordinates with authorities.
• Interacts with police, fire personnel, patients, visitors, and staff.
• Patrols interior and perimeter of campus and parking lots.

Kenntnisse

2 years healthcare or education

Ausbildung

H.S. Diploma or equivalent

Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security or related field

Driver’s License Class C and insurable

CSO – Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2 and 3 requirements

TASER Certification within 60 days and annual recertification

CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training upon hire

ACPI – Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 6 months

CPI within 30 Days of hire required

ACPI within 12 months of hire required

Must successfully complete a psychological evaluation
