Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking a Security Officer to protect patients, staff, and visitors at 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth 76104.

This full-time day shift role includes uniforms, crisis training, and opportunities for advancement. You will patrol, control access, detain violators when needed, file incident reports, give directions, and liaise with police and hospital staff to maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security or closely related field preferred.
• 2 years healthcare or education preferred.
• Driver’s License Class C and insurable.
• CSO – Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2 preferred.
• CSO – Commissioned Security Officer Texas level 3 within 60 days of hire required.
• TASER Certification within 60 days of hire required (Two attempts permitted).
• CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training on hire and ACPI – Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 6–12 months.

Responsabilités

• Patrols buildings and grounds for unlocked secured areas after hours.
• Locks and opens doors according to schedules.
• Provides escorts to and from parking areas.
• Identifies and removes unauthorized individuals from property.
• Enforces campus parking policies and citations.
• Pursues and detains persons involved in criminal activity.
• Fills out incident/offense report forms and narratives.
• Gives directions to areas of the facility.
• Interacts with police, fire personnel, patients, visitors, and staff.
• Patrols interior/perimeter of campus and parking.
