Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health (LGH) is seeking a part-time Security Officer for evenings and Sundays. You will patrol hospital areas, monitor activity, and respond to security incidents to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CPR/AED, CPI Level 4, and PPCI PATH/OCAT certifications within specified timelines. Driving license and ability to work in a diverse team are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete CPI Level 4 training within 6 months.
• PPCI PATH, OCAT, PPCD and CPR/AED certifications required within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety of patients, visitors and staff.
• Document daily activity and security responses.
• Respond to security requests and resolve incidents per supervisor instructions.
• Conduct regular security checks of hospital premises during non-business hours.
