Job summary

AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in Kansas is seeking a Full-Time Security Officer (Day shift, 7am-3pm) to protect patients, staff and visitors while maintaining a safe environment.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms, conducting screenings, maintaining equipment, documenting incidents, and adhering to all policies. Must have DL, 40-hour training and CPR preferred. Excellent observation and communication skills required.

Qualifications

• Performs security tasks as assigned by Supervisor and informs of unusual activities.
• Responds to alarms and provides proper assistance.
• Maintains equipment and complies with laws and policies.
• Provides support in emergencies, conducts lockdowns, screens visitors after hours.
• Documents crimes and safety-related incidents as required.
