Texas Children's Hospital is seeking a Commissioned Security Officer to maintain a safe environment across assigned posts and shifts. You will be a visible deterrent, patrol facilities, assist staff and the public, and respond to incidents with appropriate reporting and action.

The role requires a H.S. Diploma or GED, Texas LCSO license, a valid Texas Driver's License, and at least one year of security, law enforcement, or military experience. Training and health-safety standards are a must.

Qualifikationen

• LCSO - Commissioned Security Officer License required.
• Texas Driver's License required.
• One year security, law enforcement, or military experience required.

Aufgaben

• Provide security functions in a designated patrol position and/or posts during varying hours and shifts.
• Periodically foot patrol specific buildings assigned, observing visitors, patient and staff for compliance to the organization’s rules and protocol.
• Ensure that the required sign-in logs and documents are properly maintained as prescribed by departmental procedures.
• Operate company vehicles and other assigned duties.
• Monitor traffic and parking in designated areas.
• May respond in the case of an emergency and use AED, or assist in providing basic life support, and utilize Personal Protective Equipment.
• Attend and complete hospital and departmental required training.
• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
