Virtua Health is hiring a part-time security officer for a 3rd shift at Burlington Hospital. You will perform duties across posts, conduct rounds, monitor access points, cameras, and alarms, and respond to emergencies.

The role focuses on safety, visitor management, and incident reporting, requiring a HS diploma and valid license. The position offers on-site work, comprehensive benefits, and a competitive hourly wage of $18.69–$26.01 depending on experience and market data.

Qualifications

• 2 years security experience preferred.
• Ability to stay levelheaded and respond quickly in stressful situations.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• NJ SORA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties across all posts including security rounds and traffic control.
• Monitor doors, surveillance cameras, and alarms.
• Manage visitor control and data input/output in health system systems.
• Respond to emergencies such as CODE Security and CODE RED.
• Escort visitors, vendors, patients, and staff as needed.
• Ensure staff ID badges are worn and visitors have proper IDs.
